Located on the Olympic Peninsula in Northwest Washington, The Olympic Gravel Circumnavigation is a bikepacking route that connects some of the coolest roads and trails in the Pacific Northwest into one epic loop that can be ridden on a typical gravel bike. The primary route is 440 miles with 40,000 feet of climbing. It is a challenging ride in a remote area through diverse terrain.
Olympic GC attempts to take the inner-most ridable path around the mountains. It utilizes a network of forest service roads, singletrack, and a few unavoidable stints on the highway to get all the way around the mountain range. When there are two ways to do something Olympic GC is likely to take the option that’s more involved and has less pavement. Expect this route to take 4-7 days.
The Olympic Gravel Circumnavigation is formerly known as GCOR (gravel circumnavigation of the Olympic Range).
